The short version: we collect nothing. Binary Lab has no
accounts, no analytics, no ads, and makes no network requests. Everything you
enter stays on your device.
Data collection
Binary Lab collects no data whatsoever.
No account or sign-up exists.
No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs are included.
The app makes no network requests: chart prices are
generated on your device, and no content is downloaded or uploaded.
Data storage
Everything you enter — journal entries, quiz accuracy (“Chart IQ”),
checklist items, rules, limits and preferences — is stored
only on your device, in the app's local storage. It is never
transmitted anywhere.
Deleting the app permanently deletes all of this data.
You can also clear data in-app: Settings → Reset Chart IQ stats, and
Settings → Delete all journal entries.
The CSV export feature copies your journal to your device clipboard only
when you tap it; where you paste it is up to you.
Third parties
No data is shared with third parties, because no data leaves your device.
The app contains no third-party services.
Children
Binary Lab is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It does not knowingly
collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above (for example,
by adding an online feature), this policy will be updated and the change will
be clearly announced in the app's release notes before it takes effect.
